Queens Park Toastmasters Improv Workshop
On September 16th, we were pleased to welcome guest speaker and facilitator Tony Esteves, who led us in an interactive session of instruction on the topic of impromptu speaking. Tony is a public speaker, educator, entrepreneur, performer, athlete, and entertainer. He has experience speaking to business professionals, students and Toastmasters groups, on a variety of topics. Tony's background is in education and he worked for over six years as a teacher in Japan, Brazil, as well as in Canada. Tony was a student for two years at the Second City Training Centre and he has acted in documentaries and television commercials. His diverse work experience also includes logistics, having managed 2 offices in Uzbekistan that processed military cargo. Tony speaks several languages and his athletic accomplishments include cycling from Toronto to Vancouver, completing the CN Tower climb, in addition to the Scotiabank half-Marathon.
