If you ever find yourself driving in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, be prepared to make some "donations" from time to time. It's amazing how far $1 - $5 can go. If you are as fortunate as I was, you might even get the opportunity to choose your fine. I recommend that you choose the middle amount to have the least hassle. Keep an open mind and even the most frustrating situations in a foreign country can become entertaining.
